    Default Angie/Pencil Toppers

    Angie:

Your pencil toppers are terrific. I was also thinking how great it would be if they could be removed to put on a new pencil or pen. Maybe glue the critters onto a small square of craft foam that has two slits in it so you can slide the pencil through the slits.

Thank you gail, that would be great if they cuold be transferred. I'm not sure if caulk has some spiral plastic fixing that they have used for there pencil toppers for this reason.

    I will need to investigate.

    thanks again for the idea

    Default Pencil toppers

    Hi,

I found this site this morning that could give some ideas to some of us who make these pencils toppers with quilling:

    http://familycrafts.about.com/od/pencilcrafts/

This could help, I am thinking about the pennant showed there.

    Have a nice day

    Francine:

Yes! The pennant idea is exactly the thing I was thinking. It seemed such a disappointment to me that the nice work you all do on the pencils toppers couldn't be moved to another pencil or pen after the first pencil is too small to use. Not sure what a good glue would be to make the quilled piece stick onto the craft foam -- maybe a medium heat glue gun?
