    Smile Forum News

    Hi Everyone,
You may have noticed that over the last couple of months there has been an increase in the amount of spam being posted on the forum. As a result, we are now moderating posts. So any post that is off topic, or suspected of being spam, will not pass through.

The downside is, that there may be some delay from when you submit your post to when it is actually posted. We will try to build up some forum moderators from around the world to hopefully minimize this time. But for now, I do need to get some sleep at night

I hope this will make a more enjoyable community here for everyone.

    Happy Posting!

    Dave,
I just wanted to say 'thanks' for putting forth extra effort to keep things 'clean' here. I did notice the rise in porn-spam posts and other junk. So sorry you have to put up with this as a forum-owner...wish spammers would get a life.

Thanks for continuing to provide a nice place for quillers from around the globe to interact.

    Dave:

I appreciate the extra effort you are doing to block the Spam. I did notice a delay in posts and assumed this was the reason for it.

    Thank you,
    Gail

I think the small inconvenieince of delayed posts is well worth it to keep things clean. Thanks for the effort.
