The slot is SOOO tight that most of my students have problems getting tool over paper.  May be tight center, but it's a struggle getting started..looking for someone to open it  a LITTLE.

This is my favorite slotted tool.  I have used other ones, from other companies, and found this one to be the best.  The handle is comfortable and the slot is nice and smooth.  I have found that other slotted tools have a slot that is cut rough and the paper grabs onto it.

Great little tool, easy to travel with

Yes, the slot is tight but so are all the others on the market. All I had to so is take a razer and gently push it into the opening to enlarge it. It works perfect now. It's a great little tool.
