Product reviews for 12 Days of Christmas Ornaments

This book is very well done!  The step-by-step instructions make it so easy.  I have only two more pieces to finish, and I can’t wait to see them in my lighted “birch” tree.
The only issue I have is that the pictures that say they are actual size are not accurate.  When I make every piece the perfect size, it doesn’t fit well into the ring; everything is too crowded.  I even bought the recommended size cookie cutter to make the rings, but I think the author used one a bit larger.  

It was such a treat making each of the 12 days.  They are so colorful and intricate, and they look great on a table-top lighted “birch tree.”  My only complaint is that even when you follow the directions perfectly, they sometimes are difficult to “cram” into the ring.  This makes a couple of the designs look quite crowded.  

As other reviews mentioned, following directions perfectly, they don't fit into the frame.  I had to smash them to fit.  There were also a handful of mistakes in the book.  The first mistake I pointed out to the store but never got a response - VERY poor customer care. After spending well over $100, I would expect better. The beige color comes out dark brown and ugly; I even reordered beige hoping for a different batch but it was the same and I didn't use it.  Further, I had to reorder sage green 1/8 to have enough to finish.  I found the designs very hard on small motor corrdination, even though I've done years of quilling. Granted I'm pretty old. However, they are beautiful and brilliantly designed. I got the tree from Michael's and it looks like one pictured at the end of the book. In all, can't say a 5 but if you put up with all the other annoyances, it's probably a high 3 or low 4.  Ornaments are beautiful.
