It looks very nice for a first project and should hold up well in a scrapbook. I would suggest using less glue so that it doesn't show anywhere, you can always add another tiny dot of glue if necessary. I hold my pieces together with pointy tweezers for a few seconds. Hair clippies also work pretty good at holding things together until you're sure they're stuck permanently. If you see places that have too much glue, swipe off the excess with the tip of a toothpick. Even though the glue dries clear, it will leave a shiny spot on your background paper.

Nice job on your coils. They have such an open lacey feel to them and you were consistent with their look! Pretty arrangement.
